He was a figure in popular music for over five decades, and was considered by critics and other musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s."

The above words are just a snippet of the man, the myth, the legend that is, David Bowie. This week, we learned about the passing of an incredible artist after a private 18 month long battle with cancer. We take a look back at his long storied career.

This week's, "Horrible Event in History" hits upon the music world as well as Doug covers, "The day the music died". The tragic events that led to the passing of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Richie Valens.
