The Rabblecast
Rabblecast 467 - Marvel's Luke Cage, Jimmy Loves Squirrel Girl

Luke Cage, Marvel's latest offering now available on Netflix, tells the tale of the "Hero for Hire" from Harlem. Within just a day of its release on the streaming service, Luke Cage already holds the distinction of "breaking the internet" as Netflix went down for a few hours due to the demand of viewers watching. Even with such a great reaction from the fans, the show still manages to draw some controversy.

As we talk about Luke Cage, Jimmy believes he broke the code as to why one of Marvel's other beloved characters has yet to be included in any of the TV shows or films. Will we see Squirrel Girl sooner than later? Is she the key to the end of Marvel's Phase 3?

All of this and so much more in this nice bundled episode.

This week's show is a great example. Jokes, riffs, personal moments, and a little bit of news all coalesce into our latest offering to you, the listening audience. We even managed to slip another "Horrible Events in History" segment(The Upstairs Lounge Arson Attack) in after a few weeks of going without one.
