Pacific Rim: Uprising is set 10 years after the events of the first film. We are introduced to a new generation of Jaeger pilots led by a reluctant Jake Pentecost(John Boyega), son of Stacker Pentecost(Idris Elba's character from the first film). We take a look at what the movie has to offer and what it lacks. SPOILERS ahead if you haven't seen either movie yet.

Also on this show, we talk about the release of Ready Player One, the Steven Spielberg directed adaptation of Ernest Cline's hit book. The book and the film are described as "Love letters" to the pop-culture of the 80's(and the 90's in the film). Did the film deliver on the lofty goal of recreating the world that Ernest Cline imagined? We try to stay mostly SPOILER-FREE on this one.

We also talk about the recent news of Toys R US toy stores going out of business. Did you shop at Toys R Us as a child? Do you remember the jingles? Are you sad to see the company go?

All of this and much more!

First and foremost we say, goodbye to a remarkable individual as the science world and the world over mourns the loss of, Stephen Hawking(aged 76). He was a brilliant mind that persevered and continued his work despite the early onset of a rare form of ALS and only being given about two years to live(he was diagnosed when he was 21). Hawking continued to work for the next 55 years until his recent passing.

From there we go on to talk about the return of Daniel Bryan to in-ring action! Bryan was forced to retire a few years back to due to medical issues that prevented him from being cleared medically to compete in a WWE ring. With Wrestlemania 34 just around the corner wrestling fans are clamoring for return of the WWE Superstar. But will there be a spot on the card for him?

Bad movies. What makes a bad movie? Acting, writing, reviews? With so much content being made it's not hard to find a few bad or sub par films. But what makes it a bad movie? That's what we try to figure out as some films get ready to be released(Ready Player One and Deadpool 2 specifically).

Between test screening and early screening for specific audiences many things can and sometimes do change. But why and for who? Do you like a movie that has been given a bad review score? If you like it, do you still consider it bad by industry standards?

All of this and much more!

Marvel and Disney have changed the release date to Avengers Infinity War! Originally set to open in early May, it will now release globally on April 27th! A week not sound like much, but it will break up the glut of movies to be released in May. With Avengers now opening in late April, Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story can battle it out in May.

Also on this episode, the guys talk about some old TV shows. Any remember MTV's Liquid Television or the beginning of Adult Swim? Nostalgia runs rampant in this episode.

And let's not forget about the snow. The north east has been getting hit by storm after storm. At the time of release, we have experienced 3 Nor'easter storms(one of which developed Thundersnow). And it looks like we're not done yet.

On this episode the guys talk about some of their experiences with funerals. Whether it's a close friend or a loved family member, we've all lost someone special in our lives and we all deal with the loss differently. For some it can be a reminder to live their lives to the fullest.

With this in mind, we try to look forward to things that can entertain us and possibly distract us from the mortality that we all live with. Movies, TV shows, Netflix, and other types of media that we tend to consume to fuel our imaginations and keeps us entertained while we progress through this thing called, life.

Congratulations to the WWE! Monday Night RAW has been around for 25 years. For two and a half decades we've been surprised, shocked, and entertained. WWE celebrated 25 years by bringing back some familiar faces(Stone Cold Steve Austin, The APA, Trish Stratus, and more.) to entertain the fans, both old and new. We take a quick look at the anniversary show and give our thoughts.

Then, we get ready for the Royal Rumble! 30 WWE Superstars enter the squared circle to compete in an over-the-top rope elimination match for a chance to start their road to Wrestlemania and compete for the WWE Championship(depending on the show). And this year, we will see the first Women's Royal Rumble match! 30 Women will get their chance to shine in a historic match!

We also say good bye to some influential artists that have recently passed away.

Dolores O'Riordan(aged 46) was an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She led the rock band The Cranberries from 1990 until their breakup in 2003; they reunited in 2009.

Eddie Clarke(aged 67), better known as "Fast" Eddie Clarke, was a British guitarist who was a member of heavy metal bands Fastway and Motörhead. Of Motörhead's classic lineup, which consisted of Lemmy, himself and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, he was the last surviving member.
